This sword dates back to the mid-Kamakura period and features a triangle scale pattern
known as Urokomon, which was commonly used until the early modern period.
The brass base plate of the scabbard is intricately carved with the Urokomon design.
Both the Tsuka and the Tsuba are adorned with peony patterns,
while the Kabutogane, Ashikanamono, and Ishizuki are shaped like lions.
It is believed to be one of the swords donated,
by the Kamakura shogunate during the Mongol invasions.
