A 'Marshal sword' was bestowed on the Army (sea) army generals who were listed in the field marshal's office.
The sheath of the marshal sword is engraved with five pairs of 16-eight fold chrysanthemum flower crests.
The blade imitates the imperial treasure "Kogarasumaru", and the exterior imitates a tweezered-type sword.
Chrysanthemum flowers are highly engraved on the entire surface of the exterior metal fittings,
and the chrysanthemum crest is also engraved vividly on the scabbard.
