"Gensui Tachi" was awarded to the full generals and admirals
who were registered into the marshal prefecture.
The scabbard of the Generalissimo sword
that is called Daigensui Tachi is particularly distinguished
from the Gensui Tachi by the engraved 7 pairs of
16 petal chrysanthemum flower crests.
The blade imitates the imperial treasure "Kogarasu Maru",
and the exterior imitates Kenuki-gata Tachi sword.
Chrysanthemum flowers are engraved on the entire surface
of the exterior metal fittings, and the chrysanthemum-crest is
fused vividly on the scabbard.
Custom-order Specs.
All metal fittings (Kabutogane, Tsuba, Fuchi, Ashikanamono,Semekanamono,Ishizuki) are made of brass with a chrysanthemum pattern and are gold-plated. |
